仁濟(jì)醫(yī)院建于1844年，是上海開(kāi)埠后第一所西醫(yī)醫(yī)院。是一個(gè)學(xué)科門(mén)類(lèi)齊全,，集醫(yī)療,、教學(xué)、科研于一體的綜合性三級(jí)甲等醫(yī)院,。醫(yī)院目前由東西南北四個(gè)院區(qū)和上海市腫瘤研究所組成,。

近年來(lái),，醫(yī)院申請(qǐng)到的科研項(xiàng)目及專(zhuān)利逐年遞增,，包括國(guó)家科技部重點(diǎn)研發(fā)專(zhuān)項(xiàng)、科技部重大專(zhuān)項(xiàng),、國(guó)家自然基金（重大,、重點(diǎn)、創(chuàng)新研究群體）項(xiàng)目等,，其中2021年科研經(jīng)費(fèi)超2.7億元,。醫(yī)院還獲得多項(xiàng)國(guó)家科技進(jìn)步獎(jiǎng),、中華醫(yī)學(xué)科技獎(jiǎng)、高等學(xué)?？萍歼M(jìn)步獎(jiǎng)等,；先后共有幾百人次入圍各級(jí)人才培養(yǎng)計(jì)劃，包括973首席科學(xué)家,、長(zhǎng)江特聘教授,、衛(wèi)生部有突出貢獻(xiàn)中青年專(zhuān)家、國(guó)家杰出青年,、上海市領(lǐng)軍人才等,。醫(yī)院與加拿大、英國(guó),、美國(guó),、法國(guó)、比利時(shí),、德國(guó),、瑞士、挪威,、澳大利亞,、馬來(lái)西亞等近十個(gè)國(guó)家的二十多所醫(yī)學(xué)院校建立了學(xué)術(shù)交流和友好合作關(guān)系。
Renji Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine
Renji Hospital, founded in 1844, is the first hospital practicing western medicine in Shanghai. It is a municipal hospital with comprehensive medical and surgical disciplines serving as a university teaching hospital affiliated with the Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine.Today Renji has four campuses (in Eastern, Western, Northern and Southern Shanghai) plus the Shanghai Cancer Research Institute.
In 2021, the hospital has 2750 beds. In total, there are 4,475 staffs, 631 senior academics at Associate Professors and Professors levels, 146 doctoral supervisors and 177 master-supervisors. There has been year on year growth in scientific research projects. The research fund in 2021 reached 271 million RMB. Renji has achieved many national awards, such as National Science and Technology Awards, Chinese Medical Science Award,High Education Institution Science and Technology Progress Award.Several hundred employees were awarded various talent titles,such as Chief Scientist, Yangtze River Scholar, Senior and Young Experts with Outstanding Contribution to National Health and Family Planning Commission, Leading Personnel in Shanghai Municipality. Renji has established partnerships with dozens of medical schools in more than 10 countries, such as Canada, US, France, Belgium, Germany, UK, Australia,Malaysia and others for academic exchanges and cooperation.
