
上海交通大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院上海-渥太華聯(lián)合醫(yī)學(xué)院成立于2014年,承擔(dān)由上海交通大學(xué)與加拿大渥太華大學(xué)合作舉辦的臨床醫(yī)學(xué)專業(yè)本科教育項(xiàng)目。學(xué)院結(jié)合北美和國內(nèi)醫(yī)學(xué)院校教育標(biāo)準(zhǔn)構(gòu)建卓越醫(yī)學(xué)創(chuàng)新人才國際化培養(yǎng)新模式,,形成以學(xué)生為中心的小班教學(xué)和多元化授課形式相結(jié)合教學(xué)模式,重視社會(huì)責(zé)任教育和早期實(shí)踐教學(xué),。單元模塊整合教學(xué)夯實(shí)專業(yè)醫(yī)學(xué)基礎(chǔ)和臨床知識(shí);早期接觸臨床,通過臨床技能訓(xùn)練和早期床邊教學(xué)培養(yǎng)臨床綜合能力;強(qiáng)化全科醫(yī)學(xué)理念,,序貫醫(yī)學(xué)人文社會(huì)課程提升職業(yè)道德素養(yǎng);獨(dú)特的專業(yè)拓展選修課體系注重學(xué)生個(gè)性發(fā)展,,全方位為學(xué)生職業(yè)勝任力的培養(yǎng)打下堅(jiān)實(shí)基礎(chǔ),;并形成規(guī)范化教學(xué)評估體系和高標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的質(zhì)量保障體系。學(xué)院擁有以上海交通大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院附屬仁濟(jì)醫(yī)院為主體各附屬醫(yī)院優(yōu)質(zhì)教學(xué)資源,,建立國際化師資教學(xué)團(tuán)隊(duì)和管理團(tuán)隊(duì)。390名教師獲得加拿大渥太華大學(xué)“兼職教授”任命,,形成國際化高水平教學(xué)團(tuán)隊(duì)12個(gè),。
學(xué)院目前已招收包括港澳臺(tái)和各省市學(xué)生7屆,已有兩屆畢業(yè)生,,在校生183名,,港澳臺(tái)生源占15%。國際化新課程體系培養(yǎng)學(xué)生更為扎實(shí)全面的專業(yè)知識(shí),、職業(yè)精神,、領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力與醫(yī)患溝通技能,同時(shí)大幅度提高學(xué)生醫(yī)學(xué)專業(yè)英語能力,。特色海外游學(xué)項(xiàng)目拓展醫(yī)學(xué)生國際化視野,,畢業(yè)生海內(nèi)外就業(yè)升學(xué)率近97%,近80%畢業(yè)生進(jìn)入全國四大醫(yī)學(xué)院校及其附屬醫(yī)院繼續(xù)深造,。優(yōu)秀畢業(yè)生獲得全額獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金赴美國哈佛大學(xué),、德國海德堡大學(xué)攻讀博士學(xué)位。在讀學(xué)生分別獲得國家級,、上海市級大學(xué)生創(chuàng)新項(xiàng)目6項(xiàng)和20項(xiàng),,省部級獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)20余項(xiàng)。
Ottawa-Shanghai Joint School of Medicine
Ottawa-Shanghai Joint School of Medicine (OSJSM), Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine was established in 2014. It undertakes the joint undergraduate medical education program organized by Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the University of Ottawa. Based on the education standards of both North American and Chinese medical colleges, the school builds a new model for medical experts with global vision, which focuses on student-centered small class teaching model and diversified teaching methods, highlights social accountability and early practice . The Unit modules integrate the basic knowledge with clinical practice. The early stage clinical practice provides students with comprehensive clinical ability through simulation and bedside teaching. With an emphasis on the concept of General Practice, the school helps students to improve professional ethics through sequential medical humanities and social courses. The distinctive elective course system attaches great importance to the development of students' personalized learning, laying a solid foundation for the cultivation of students' professional competence in an all-round way. OSJSM has thus formed a standardized evaluation system and quality assurance system. OSJSM has high quality teaching resources from affiliated hospitals with Renji Hospital as the main body, and has established an international faculty team and management team, with 390 faculties, in 12 teaching groups, been appointed as "Adjunct Professors" by the University of Ottawa, Canada.
OSJSM has recruited seven cohorts of students since its foundation. And two cohorts of students have graduated. At present, there are 183 registered students, of which 15% are from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. The graduates have acquired more solid and comprehensive knowledge, professionalism, leadership and communication skills, as well as fluent English through this new international medical education system. The unique overseas exchange programs have also expanded students’ global vision. The employment rate of graduates reached around 97%. In addition, nearly 80% of the graduates continued their post-graduation education in the country's four major medical schools and their affiliated hospitals. Some outstanding graduates have received full scholarships to pursue doctoral degrees at Harvard University in the United States and Heidelberg University in Germany. The students in school have won 6 National-level and 20 Municipal-level innovation projects for college student, and more than 20 provincial awards.
