Dong obtained her Ph.D. degree in Internal Medicine (Gastroenterology) at School of medicine, Tongji University in 2017. Then She finished standardization training of residents for two years in Internal Medicine at Tongji Hospital affiliated to Tongji University. Her research is mainly focused on initiation and development of gastric carcinoma and hepatic fibrosis. Since joined the Stem Cell & Cancer Lab at the Center for Single Cell Omics, she is developing the strategy of reprogramming the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment with the CODEX multiplex imaging in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma at single cell resolution.
