Bio
Dr. Yin Wu is a tenured full professor and principal investigator of the School of Public Health at the Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. Dr. Wu conducts cross-disciplinary research in psychiatric epidemiology, and public health management and quantitative psychology. Her research dual focuses on both application of big data analysis methodology and psychometrics in improving physical and mental health and well-being. She contributes to the international collaborative DEPRESsion Screening Data (DEPRESSD) Project as a steering committee member. As the principal investigator, Dr. Wu has secured funds from the National Natural Science Fund China, the Quebec government (Canada) and not-for-profit organizations. Since 2020, Dr. Wu has published 41 peer-reviewed articles, first-authored on eight, including five in leading journals, e.g. BMJ, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics, Psychological Medicine. Her article of verifying the equivalency of the diagnostic accuracy of the PHQ-8 and PHQ-9 was the ESI highly cited paper of 2021 and cited by researchers worldwide for over 330 times. Dr. Wu has also served as a peer reviewer for JAMA Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics, Psychological Medicine, and so on.
