公共衛(wèi)生學(xué)院海外游學(xué)項目實施方案
游學(xué)院校：悉尼大學(xué)公共衛(wèi)生學(xué)院
游學(xué)時間：2018年7月-8月（為期6周）

Professor Adrian Bauman, Director WHO Collaborating Centre in Physical Activity, Nutrition
and Obesity; expertise in chronic disease prevention, physical
activity, obesity prevention
Professor Tim Driscoll, special expertise in Occupational and environmental epidemiology
Assoc Professor Ian Kerridge, Associate Professor in Bioethics, Director, Centre for Values and
Ethics and the Law in Medicine; clinical specialist physician in
Haematology
MODULE 1. INTRODUCTION TO PUBLIC HEALTH : major public health
issues, global public health perspectives, Introduction to
epidemiology; introduction to health economics, introduction to
program evaluation 8 hours
MODULE 2. NON COMMUNICABLE DISEASE PREVENTION AND
POLICY 10 hours
- illustrated with examples of public health research methods in all
modules
principles of NCDs, WHO perspectives, importance in global health,
especially in China [3hrs] - risk factors for NCD– demographic transition; importance of not
smoking, healthy diet, low alcohol, and regular physical activity ;
risk factor prevalence, trends, surveillance [2hrs]
- NCD prevention and control, outline of strategies used /
recommendations for NCD prevention [3 hrs]
- evaluation of NCD programs; costs of NCDs and introductory
principles of cost effectiveness assessment for NCD prevention
interventions [health econ group/ Glenn] [2 hrs]
MODULE 3. OBESITY AND TOBACCO CONTROL 10 hours
- the epidemiology of obesity and tobacco, distribution and health
risks [1hr]
- determinants of obesity – what caused the obesity epidemic ? [1hr]
- distribution and determinants of smoking[1hr]
- public health approaches to reduce obesity and reduce/prevent
smoking – integrated approaches, having a national plan; behaviour
change, environmental change / policy , mass media campaigns; use
of social media; clinical therapy for tobacco [4hrs]
- working inside and outside the health sector to address public
health problems[1 hr]
- Economics of obesity and smoking – costs; cost effectiveness of
interventions [1 hr]
- ethical issues in obesity and tobacco control [1h]
MODULE 4. ENVIRONMENT, AIR POLLUTION, OCCUPATIONAL
HEALTH: Environment and health; occupational health; case
studies in asbestos; air pollution and health 6 hours
MODULE 5. INFECTIONS CONTROL: SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED INFECTIONS,
ZOONOSIS, PANDEMICS 6 hours
- Principles of infection control; principles of HIV and sexually
transmitted disease control; public health response to epidemics
and pandemics
MODULE 6. EXTRA LECTURES5 hours [to be determined – for
Chinese public health experts to consider]
“food sanitation and food security” 1 hour

游學(xué)費(fèi)用：
學(xué)費(fèi)：4100澳元
住宿費(fèi)（home stay每周250澳元每天含兩餐、機(jī)票等預(yù)計總費(fèi)用：4.2萬人民幣
獎學(xué)金補(bǔ)貼：
1、國際交流處海外游學(xué)項目經(jīng)費(fèi)補(bǔ)貼（每人1.6-2萬元人民幣，具體看人數(shù)）
2、學(xué)指委遠(yuǎn)修無憂（針對困難學(xué)生）
申報對象：
預(yù)防醫(yī)學(xué)專業(yè)大一至大四學(xué)生、營養(yǎng)專業(yè)大一至大三學(xué)生
申報條件：入學(xué)以來無違紀(jì)處分記錄，考試無不及格（不含補(bǔ)考重修合格），具有一定的英語溝通能力。（詳細(xì)條例可參照學(xué)生手冊）
申報方式：
1、填寫《上海交通大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院學(xué)生出國（境）學(xué)習(xí)交流申請表》（附件一）和《上海交通大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院出國交流學(xué)生教學(xué)登記表》（附件二）
2、遞交書面申請，寫明個人情況、家庭情況、出游目的等。需本人及家長簽字（不可代簽）。
3、入學(xué)以來成績大表
(以上三份紙質(zhì)材料需一式三份上交至輔導(dǎo)員)
筆試與面試：
對于符合基本條件的學(xué)生，學(xué)院會統(tǒng)一安排筆試、面試，最終確定游學(xué)名單，并上網(wǎng)公布。

2、澳方面試
確定錄取名單者需在規(guī)定時間內(nèi)提供出入境相關(guān)資料，由學(xué)院統(tǒng)一辦理，所需費(fèi)用由學(xué)生承擔(dān)。個人簽證由學(xué)生自行辦理。
學(xué)分轉(zhuǎn)換：
1、填寫《上海交通大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院出國交流本科生學(xué)分轉(zhuǎn)換申請表》（附件三）和《Shanghai Jiao Tong University
School of Medicine Evaluation form for exchanging student》（附件四）
只能轉(zhuǎn)換相應(yīng)課程的選修課學(xué)分，必修課、必修選修課學(xué)分不得轉(zhuǎn)換。詳細(xì)內(nèi)容見《

注：
大四暑假前往社區(qū)、衛(wèi)監(jiān)實習(xí)缺勤者需在次年寒假中補(bǔ)實習(xí)。
具體補(bǔ)實習(xí)等相關(guān)事宜與實習(xí)單位協(xié)商后確定，不參加補(bǔ)實習(xí)者，實習(xí)成績?yōu)?分，不能正常畢業(yè)。
