Criteria - An undergraduate degree with an average of 75% or above
and a master degree with an average of 75%.
Applying – Applications for PhD admission must be made
electronically via the Queen’s postgraduate admissions online
application portal at https://dap.qub.ac.uk/portal/
Applicants should mention their intention to apply for the CSC
Scholarship in their PhD application. Prospective PhD students
should approach individual supervisors to discuss and agree their
proposed project preferably before submitting a PhD application.
Applicants must also gain approval from their current Institution
before submitting an application as failure to do so may result in
refusal of application.
The deadline to apply to Queen’s University Belfast (with all the
necessary documentation) is Tuesday 1st May 2012. Full details on
how to apply can be obtained from the China Scholarship Council
website.
An offer of admission will not be issued unless we have received
all necessary documentation to support an application, including:
Two academic references
Degree transcripts
English Language test certificate. Minimum IELTS 6.5* with a
minimum of 5.5 in each test component.
