Professor Zeng Yitao is a world-known medical geneticist and one of the first academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. As the founder and pioneers in the field of molecular diagnostics for genetic diseases and embryo engineering technology in China, Professor Zeng has made fruitful achievements in prevention and control of genetic diseases in China, and animal mammary bioreactor for medical and pharmaceutical research.
Professor Zeng has published over 400 research papers and 8 scientific books. He has received more than 30 significant awards worldwide, including the ACGA Lifetime Achievement Award, the Ho Leung Ho Lee Award for Science and Technology Progress, the Shanghai Medical Development Lifetime Achievement Award, the National May Day Medal, as well as prestigious titles such as "Shanghai Science and Technology Hero", "National Advanced Worker".
