Biography
Dr. Zhenqi Chen, chief physician of Department of Orthodontics, Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine; Shanghai Jiao Tong University College of Stomatology. He is a member of both Society of Orthodontics and Society of Cleft Lip and Palate, Chinese Stomatological Association (CSA). He is also a member of Society of Orthodontics, Shanghai Stomatological Association (SSA). He is the editorial board member of ‘China Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery’, ‘Shanghai Journal of Stomatology’ and served as the reviewer for CPCJ, Angle, AJODO, etc.
Dr. Chen specializes in the treatment of malocclusion, early orthopedic treatment of craniofacial deformities,，and is especially good at the orthodontic treatment of cleft lip and palate (before alveolar cleft bone grafting and orthognathic surgery).
His research focuses on the growth of craniofacial structures in patients with cleft lip and palate, as well as the orthodontic tooth movement before and after alveolar cleft bone grafting. He has published more than 80 academic papers, of which over 20 were included in SCI as the first author or corresponding author.
