Biography
Dr. Cao is currently appointed as an Associate Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial-Head and Neck Oncology, Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine; College of Stomatology Shanghai Jiao Tong University (since 2017).?Previously, Dr. Cao was a visiting student at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, Maryland (2009-2010). After back to China, Dr. Cao received his MD and PhD from?Shanghai Jiao Tong University (2011). His training fellowship of Head & Neck Oncology was completed from Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital (2011-2015). Dr. Cao is a member of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) as well as a member of American Society of Gene and Cell Therapy (ASGCT). He joined the Editorial Board and was appointed as the Guest Associate Editor for "Frontiers in Oncology (IF:6.244)" in January 2020. He also was appointed as an Associate Editor for Technology in Cancer Research & Treatment (IF: 3.399) in Feb.2022. He joined the Editorial Board Member of BMC Cancer (IF:4.46) as well as Oncology letters (IF: 2.967) as well as Associate Editorial Board Member of " Cancer Biology & Medicine (IF:4.248)" from December 2021.Up till now, he has published 56 articles (total times cited 1058, H-index 19) including, "Molecular Cancer, EMBO Journal, Theranostics, Molecular Therapy-Nucleic Acids, Bioinformatics, Cancer, Cancer Prevention Research, Oral Oncology, Head & Neck". He hosted 3 projects from the Natural Science Foundation of China. His research interest includes Head Neck Oncology, Epigenetic modification, Classifier for early detection, predict lymph node metastasis and survival based on transcriptome.
