Biography
Prof. Chuangqi Yu graduated from School of Stomatology, Shanghai Second Medical University and got the Bachelor degree of stomatology in 1988, and got M.D. and Ph.D. in 1998 from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, School of Medicine. From 1988 to now he has been working in Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital affiliated Shanghai Jiao Tong University, School of Medicine; College of Stomatology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. In 2005, he took an advanced study in Geneva, Switzerland for salivary gland disease with sialendoscopy.
Besides conventional clinical work of oral and maxillofacial surgery, his major field is in diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory diseases in salivary gland. His specialties are endoscopic technique used in obstructive cases and combined serial treatment of immune disorder in salivary gland, such as sjÖgren’s syndrome. 23 papers had been published in professional magazines in these years.
