Biography
Wei Wang, male, Ph. D., Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Shanghai Children's Medical Center. He is currently the Standing Committee and Secretary General of the Extracorporeal Circulation Branch of the Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering, Standing Committee of the Extracorporeal Life Support Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor's Association, and the Chairman-elect of the Shanghai Extracorporeal Circulation Professional Committee. He entered the Department of Pediatrics of Shanghai Second Medical University in 1990 and received his PhD in 2002 under the supervision of Prof. Ding Wenxiang. She has been working on clinical and scientific research related to pediatric extracorporeal circulation for a long time, engaged in research related to pediatric ECMO, perioperative organ function protection and tissue engineering for congenital heart disease, independently developed centrifugal pump for ECMO and achieved results. He has published more than 60 papers, including more than 10 SCI-indexed papers with the highest single impact factor of 14.588, and edited more than 10 monographs, including two English monographs. He has won many scientific and technological progress awards.
