Biography

Personal introduction: Haiyu Hong, male, Ph. He is the deputy director of the Youth Committee of the Cardiac Macrovascular Surgery Branch of Shanghai Medical Association, the youth member of the Surgical Branch of Shanghai Medical Association, and the assistant director of Shanghai Institute of Pediatric Congenital Heart Disease. He has been engaged in clinical, scientific research and teaching work of pediatric cardiac surgery for nearly 15 years, and has studied in Cincinnati Children's Hospital in USA, Westmead Children's Hospital in Sydney, Australia and Carnegie Mellon University in USA to learn the most advanced concept and practice of pediatric cardiovascular surgery. He has performed more than 3,000 cardiovascular surgeries on children, ranging from small axillary incision surgery for simple precardiac diseases to extracorporeal circulation surgery for critical and complex precardiac diseases in newborns, with a mortality rate of less than 1% and a very low complication rate, which is well received by the families of the children. He also specializes in prenatal consultation and evaluation of cardiac birth defects and postnatal multidisciplinary integrated green channel treatment, biventricular and univentricular surgical treatment of difficult and complex precardial diseases, and virtual simulation design of pediatric cardiovascular surgery. He has published many papers and reviews in the Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery and The Annals of Thoracic Surgery, which are the most authoritative journals in the world in the field of cardiothoracic surgery.
