Biography

Dr. Jinjin Chen, chief physician and doctoral supervisor, is the director of the Department of Pediatric Health Care and the director of the Department of Nutrition at Children's Hospital of Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine. His main research interests include clinical and basic research on childhood nutritional metabolism and developmental disorders in early life, including growth patterns, nutritional support and brain function-related developmental disorders in children in early life.

Dr. Jinjin Chen graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, and has long been devoted to clinical and basic research on childhood nutritional metabolism and developmental disorders in early life, and has visited Cornell University Department of Nutritional Sciences and Harvard Medical School. He has led the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the International Cooperation Project of Shanghai Municipal Science Commission, the Natural Science Foundation of Shanghai, the Medical Guidance Project of Shanghai Municipal Science Commission, the Key Project of Shanghai Jiaotong University, and the Special Project of Shanghai Health Commission on Aging and Maternal and Child Health. He has published more than 50 papers in SCI and core journals as the first author or corresponding author, edited and published 6 professional books, and has been awarded 9 patents and software copyrights. He has been awarded the second prize of National Science and Technology Award for Maternal and Child Health, the third prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, the third prize of Shanghai Preventive Medicine Association, the second prize of Shanghai Rehabilitation Medicine Science and Technology, and the individual contribution award of Shanghai Science Education Innovation.

Dr. Chen is currently the Vice Chairman of the Child Health Committee of the Chinese Medical Association, the Vice Chairman of the Special Committee on Collaborative Medical and Educational Interventions for Special Children of the Chinese Maternal and Child Health Association, the Secretary of the Paediatrics Section of the Chinese Medical Association, a member of the Child Health Branch of the Chinese Society of Preventive Medicine, a member of the Early Childhood Development Committee of the Paediatrics Branch of the Chinese Society of Medicine, the Vice Chairman of the Maternal and Child Special Committee of the Shanghai Society of Preventive Medicine, the Head of the Paediatrics Section of the Shanghai Paediatrics Branch, and a member of the Shanghai Nutrition Committee.
