Biography

Chunxia Wang, Associate Researcher, PhD supervisor, was selected as a full-time clinical research team in 2017 in the "Double Hundred" program of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. She is currently the Director of the Office of the Institute of Pediatric Infection, Immunology and Critical Care Medicine, Director of the Translational Medicine Research Unit of Critical Care, and Deputy Director of the Clinical Research Center of Shanghai Children's Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. He is a member of the Shanghai Medical Association Rare Diseases Branch and a member and secretary of the Special Committee on Blood Purification of the Pediatric Intensive Care Physicians Branch of the Chinese Medical Association. He is mainly engaged in early warning modeling of pediatric critical illness, biomarkers of critical illness assessment and its translational medicine research and research on immunometabolic pathological mechanism of sepsis. In recent years, he has published more than 30 SCI-indexed papers in the field of critical care medicine and immunometabolism as first author or corresponding author, mainly published in international journals such as Cell Research, Cell Death & Disease, International Journal of Infectious Diseases, Metabolism, Oxidative Medicine and Cellular Longevity, Frontiers in Medicine, Frontiers in Pediatrics, Blood Purification, Mediators of Inflammation, etc.; some of the research results have been included as an important evidence base in the "Surviving Sepsis Campaign (SSC) International Guidelines for the Management of Sepsis-Related Organ Dysfunction in Children" published in 2020 (1 article), and in the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM). (2), and the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) definition update of childhood sepsis as an important reference for preliminary research. He has hosted 3 National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 Shanghai Natural Science Foundation of China, 3 Shanghai Health Care Commission projects and other bureau level projects.
