Biography
Dr. Shao's daily work is forensic psychiatry. He is also working as the vice director at the Shanghai Mental Health Center, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. He graduated from the Shanghai Second Medical University in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree and obtained a doctoral degree in psychiatry from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine in 2009. From 2007 to 2008 he worked as a research fellow at Harvard Medical School (Department of Global Health and Social Medicine, Fogarty Institute sponsored program). His research interests include mental health legislation and violent behavior in mentally ill individuals.
