Research Interests
Pro. Liu is the vicedirector of Shanghai Key Laboratory of Embryo Original Diseases. He was elected the Shanghai Outstanding Academic Leader in 2021. He has been engaged in the clinical work of neonatalandperinatal medicineformore than 20 years, and devoted to the research of the mechanisms of developmental origin of diseases. His research interests include the short-term and long-term effects of adverse environmental factors in early life (such as intrauterine infection/inflammation exposure) on offspring and the mechanisms involved. He has undertaken more than tennational and provincial projectsastheproject directorfrom 2018 to 2022. As corresponding author, his study has been published on Cell Biosci, Environ Health Persp, BMC Med, Clin Nutr,Eur J Nutr,NutrMetab as well as other top journals from 2018 to 2022.
