Research Interests
Engaged in clinical nutrition medicine, teaching and research for 30 years, I have developed a focus on maternal and child nutrition, performing medical nutrition therapy for weight management during pregnancy and postpartum period, as well as gestational diabetes, anaemia and malnutrition. My current research includes investigating the effects of prenatal iodine nutritional status on maternal thyroid function, pregnancy and birth outcomes.
