Research Interests
Main research directionisbasic and clinical research of endometriosis and adenomyosis. Utilizing multi-omics to study the changes in genome, transcriptome and protein modification and explore their role in pathogenesis of endometriosis. Establishing mouse models of endometriosis and adenomyosisto verify the role of key molecules in animal models. Collaborating with school of Material Science and study the therapeutic effect of novel nanomaterials on diseases. Establish clinical cohorts of endometriosis and adenomyosis, conducting RCT studies to explore new diagnostic markers and effective therapeutic drugs.
At the same time, focusing on the key and difficult issues related to reproductive system diseases, and devoting to the impact of development and aging on reproductive organs. Leading the team to cooperate with well-known universities and institutions at home and abroad to carry out a series of studies on female age-related diseases, endometrial diseases, endometrial receptivity and fertility protection, etc.
In recent years, Dr. Xu has presided over nearly 20 national, provincial and ministerial scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation, and participated in 4 national key R&D programs and national science and technology support projects as key member.Dr. Xu has published more than 40 academic papers, and served as the reviewer andeditorof several SCI journals.
