Research Interests
I am an experienced pathologist and senior scientist heading the Department of Pathology. My research is mainly focused on the following two aspects: (1) to study the structural and functional changes of trophoblasts in complicated pregnancies, to elucidate why the adverse clinical outcomes happened; (2) to decipher the molecular mechanism which regulates gestational trophoblastic disease (GTD) progress into gestational trophoblastic neoplasia (GTN).
My research group is supported by several National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) grants, National Key Research and Development Project of China grant, National 985 III Transitional Medicine Fund and Shanghai Natural Science Fund, etc. My investigation resulted in more than 50 articles in English as well as in Chinese.
