[Mechanisms of blood group variants]
We study the relationship and mechanism between gene mutation and phenotype of blood group. Till now we found more than 50 mutations of ABO, H, Mur and other blood group gene, and the molecular mechanism leading to blood group variation.We hope to avoid immune adverse reactions or ineffective blood transfusion and improve the safety and effectiveness of blood transfusion through precise gene matching of blood group antigens.
[Mechanisms of platelet storage lesion]
Since 2020, a series of studies have been carried out on the topic that pyruvate dehydrogenase (PDH)/LDH metabolic pathway promotes glucose aerobic oxidation to improve platelet storage life.We plan to find a new way to prolong the storage life of platelets by studying the molecular mechanism of aging and inactivation of stored platelets.
