Research Interests
Prof. Sheng Chen is deputy director, professor, also American Certificated Physician, and works in Department of Neurology, Ruijin Hospital, and Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine. He is a committee member of Neuroimmunology Committee of Chinese Medical Association, American and Chinese Society of Neuroscience and Neurology. His main research focus is neuro-immunology and neuro-degenerative diseases (Autoimmune encephalitis, Multiple sclerosis, motor neuron disease). He had published more than 60 SCI articles including in Lancet Neurology, JAMA Neurology, ElinicalMedicine, Neurology, Autophagy, Molecular Neurodegeneration, European Journal of Neurology, and Journal of Neuroinflammation. He also acquired the support of both National Natural Sciences Foundation of China and Shanghai Science and Technology Project.
He is a peer reviewer for Lancet, BMC medicine and Guest editor of Frontiers in molecular neuroscience and Frontiers in aging neuroscience.
