Research Interests
Dr. Lin Cheng has been focusing on implication of cell reprogramming in the development of diseases and application of cell reprogramming in tissue regeneration. His main contribution and current work include the following points: 1. Develop a novel strategy to generate hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells based on complete chemical compound cocktail-induced cell reprogramming and promote the above technique from basic research into clinical translation (Advanced Science, 2020; Journal of Hematology & Oncology 2020, 2021; Experimental Hematology & Oncology 2022). 2. Develop new bioinformatic analyzing methods to construct the trajectories of cellular reprogramming induced artificially in vitro or occurred naturally under physiological or pathological conditions based on single cell analysis, helping to understand hematopoietic reprogramming entangled with hematopoiesis and cellular reprogramming as therapeutic target in cancer (Trends in Cell Biology 2019, 2020).
