Research Interests
Dr. Ding majors in the pathogenesis of coronary artery disease especially in diabetes and angiogenesis in chronic total occlusion. 1) Deep exploration of the pathogenesis of collaterals dysfunction through bioinformatics and clinical analysis of samples from patients, and discover important molecules associated with collaterals dysfunction in diabetic patients with chronic total occlusion; then through molecular biology, cell biology, mouse model, single-cell sequencing and other means, multidisciplinary repeatedly verify and explore potential mechanism of molecules such as HMGB2. 2) Actively explore interventional therapy of coronary heart disease, structural heart disease (including congenital heart disease and left atrial appendage closure) based on medical imaging techniques.
