Research Interests

• I am at the stage to establish my leadership with clear vision in the field of computational medicine, with the aim to rapidly shorten the widening gap between big genomic data and translational therapeutics application. This can be seen in publication records with >30 as leading author. I take full responsibility for developing a genetics-led system for early-stage drug target discovery, the first ever of this kind, leading to a series of publications (e.g. Nature Genetics 2019, Lancet Rheumatology 2020, Nucleic Acids Research 2022). I also show interests in improving genomic data interpretation software ‘XGR’ (Genome Medicine 2016) and ‘dnet’ (Genome Medicine 2014), as well as domain-centric ontologies ‘dcGO’ (Nucleic Acids Research 2013).
