Research Interests
My group has developed a highly innovative multi-omics platform for leukemia research, which allowed us to have identified epigenetic mechanisms of activities of standard-of-care drugs in treating ALL and defined genomic and epigenomic landscapes associated with chemo-resistance in ALL. Over the last years, my group has been focusing on identifying rare relapse-initiating ALL cells from minimal/measurable residual disease by carrying out single-cell multi-omics profiling, which led to grants from NSFC General and International Cooperation Programs. Recently, my group got supported by the National Key R&D Program of China to develop long-read profiling as a novel rapid diagnostic method for ALL.
