Research Interests
I have long been engaged in the research of neuroscience and neurology. My research focuses on the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative diseases and the regulatory mechanism of calcium signal on the function of nerve cells. Our research group applied multidisciplinary and comprehensive research methods such as mouse genetics and in vivo calcium imaging to explore the important role of calcium signaling pathway in neural development, the establishment of neural circuits and neurodegenerative diseases, and further clarified the regulation of calcium signal in neural circuits and the pathological mechanism of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease (AD) and Parkinson's disease (PD).
