Research Interests
Pr. TONG has focused over the years on the signal transduction pathways in the course of leukemia cell differentiation, proliferation, apoptosis and autophagy, as well as the biological function of some key genes involved in these pathways. Her current research interests include: 1) the molecular mechanism of the pathogenesis and treatment of tumors (including solid tumors and leukemia); 2) novel tumor markers, especially non-invasive circulating tumor nucleic acid and exosome contents, to provide new options for rapid and non-invasive diagnosis of tumors, dynamic monitoring of disease course and prognosis assessment.
