Research Interests
Ji-Guang Wang is director of the Shanghai Institute of Hypertension, and director of the Department of Hypertension, Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, Shanghai, China.
At present, he is coordinating several multicentre randomized clinical trials and population- and patient-cohort studies in China. His research interests include
a) blood pressure measurement;
b) assessment of hypertension-mediated organ damage;
c) diagnostics and therapeutics of primary and secondary hypertension;
d) role of the natriuretic peptide system in the development of hypertension
