Prof. Wang Mingliang has long been engaged in clinical and basic research on biliary tract diseases, gastrointestinal diseases, and thyroid tumors. He is one of the first surgeons to perform laparoscopic surgeries in China, specializing in minimally invasive treatments of various abdominal diseases, and is highly skilled in the application of laparoscopic surgeries as well as endoscopic surgeries for complex cases of biliary tract diseases and gastrointestinal tumors.
