Research Interests
Prof. Wang Zhongmin has been engaged in clinical work for over 30 years. He is an expert in the field of interventional oncology and minimal-invasive vascular surgery. He is the vice chairman of the Chinese College of Interventionalists (CCI), and he is also the current vice chairman of Shanghai College of Interventionalists.
To date, Professor Wang has undertaken four National Natural Science Foundation projects. In addition, he has been funded by a series of provincial and ministerial projects, with a total scientific funding exceeded 15 million yuan. He has published more than 50 papers, including in Cancer Research, GI Endoscopy and other reputable journals. He has published 8 books as editor or chief editor, and has obtained 10 patents.
