Research Interests
Candida is the main pathogen of fungal infection, which not only causes superficial infections of mucous membranes and skin, but also causes fatal systemic infections especially in immunocompromised patients caused by any reasons. In the past two decades, it has attracted more and more attention because of its clinical problems. Our research group starts from clinical problems and hypothetical theories, and conducts research on the clinical epidemiology, drug resistance mechanism and virulence mechanism of various Candida species (including but not limited to Candida albicans, Candida glabrata, and Candida tropicalis), in an attempt to enrich the understanding of domestic and foreign researchers in this field and ultimately benefit clinical medicine development in the field.
