Research Interests
Our research aims to investigate the function of G protein-coupled receptors in pituitary tumors and other critical intracalvarium diseases to benefit clinical treatment. Besides studying the functional regulation of the conventional important target GPCRs such as dopamine 2 receptor (D2R) and somatostatin receptors (SSTRs), we are also interested in developing new targets of Pituitary adenoma by single-cell sequencing and primary cell based high-throughput drug screening to empower searching for novel therapeutic treatments. In addition, we are trying on inventing new molecular tools such nanobodies, combined with functional assay to study molecular mechanisms of GPCRs’ signaling in pituitary disorders.
