Research Interests
Drug resistance is a major clinical hurdle for management of gastric cancer. Revealing mechanisms of drug resistance may pave the way to design better ways to treat gastric cancer. Our group devote to study the drug response to adjuvant 5-fluorouracil, platinum and/or taxane therapy after gastrectomy and to immune checkpoint inhibitors in patients with metastatic or recurrent gastric cancer. Also, our group are interested in molecular mechanisms of metastasis in gastric cancer and provide a new strategy for the treatment of advanced gastric cancer with invasion and metastasis.
