Research Interests
I am a professor of genetic and biomedical informatics. My major research interest lies in the development of large-scale GWAS databases and analytical platforms (eLife; Bioinformatics); application of phenome-wide association study (Nature Genetics), multi-omics study (Cell Genomics; eBiomedicine) and drug target Mendelian randomization research (Diabetes Care, A&R, Diabetologia). Some of the current projects including anti-diabetic drug target identification and repurposing and omics research, especially on proteomics MR. I am interested in hearing from potential PhD students or postdoctoral researchers. I am also keen to discuss/collaborate in genetic / proteomic research, bioinformatics, statistical genetics, and genetic epidemiology.
