Research Interests
Dr. Zhu was the first researcher who reported the mutation of MYH11 gene caused familial thoracic aneurysm/dissection in the world. She now works in the Department of Hypertension of Ruijin Hospital as chief physician. She has extensive experience working in the field of secondary hypertension. Her current research work focuses on the workup and genetic mechanisms of primary aldosteronism, as well as other rare forms of monogenic hypertension. She has conducted several local government projects and published >10 papers on related diseases. She co-authored the 2018 Chinese Society of Cardiology Guideline for the genetic diagnosis of monogenic cardiovascular diseases.
