Research Interests
Dr. Jiang Zhu obtained M.D. from Shanghai Second Medical University in 1996 and then pursued his postdoctoral training/work in University of Massachusetts and University of Pennsylvania. Since 2005, he has been working in Shanghai Institute of Hematology as the PI of the hematopoietic signal transduction and stem cell research lab, and recently also heads the team of experimental and translational gene therapy. Recent research interests include: 1) How leukemia cells escape immunosurveillance and develop resistance to contemporary treatments including differentiation-induction; 2) How to make hematopoietic stem cells more fitful for gene-editing; 3) How Rig-I intrinsically regulates adaptive immunity.
