Research Interests
Prof. Zou is interested in basic and clinical translational research on intestinal fibrosis in IBD, and the application of digestive endoscopy in the precision diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic diseases. The research conducted at the Zou Lab includes:
Pathogenesis of intestinal fibrosis, particularly focusing on effects and regulatory mechanisms of distinct stromal cell subsets.
Pathogenesis and translational research of chronic pancreatitis (especially autoimmune pancreatitis).
Clinical research of endoscopic techniques, such as EUS, ERCP, etc. Combination of endoscopic techniques with artificial intelligence and new optical techniques.
