Research Interests
Qiang Tan achieved his PhD in University of Zurich, Switzerland. He is a talent surgeon performed annually more than 1,000 operations specialized in minimal invasive surgery for lung cancer. His research field mainly focus on tissue engineering and lung cancer treatment. He completes the first tissue engineered trachea clinical trial in Asia and successfully reconstructs 8cm Y-shape trachea and carina defect. In collaboration with ETOP (European Thoracic Oncology Platform), he established CTOP (Chinese Thoracic Oncology Platform) in China with the purpose to establish lung cancer big-data database.
