Research Interests

• I’m major in cancer biology, focusing on exploring the molecular mechanisms undergoing cancer biological behaviors and developing novel anti-tumor strategies. In recent years, I devote to investigating how dying cells stimulate cancer repopulation upon radiotherapy. The survival strategy of “dying for living” of cancer cells upon cytotoxic therapy bewares us of paying attention to the dark side of cytotoxic therapy. Accordingly, we should rediscover the complex biological behaviors of tumors, figure out the inherent unique mechanisms and thus develop new therapeutical modalities of cancers. Reversing cancer cells would be a challenging proposal worth trying.
