Research Interests
Hong Liu, M.D. Ph.D, a chief physician and doctoral supervisor in School of Medicine, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. She received her Ph.D degree from West China Medical Center and finished her postdoctoral training at Creighton University and Nebraska University Medical Center in U.S.A. Dr. Liu worked as a vice chief physician and a doctoral supervisor in a well-known hospital of Fudan university for more than 10+ years. The excellent trainings and intensive working experiences bring her to a top, talented and skilled surgeon, strabismus, amblyopia and pediatric ophthalmology specialist, researcher and educator. Her researches are focused on investigating and treating pediatric strabismus and amblyopia diseases. The research projects were funded by many well-known organizations including National Natural Science Foundation of China. She has published more than 30 peer-reviewed manuscripts in scientific journals and four books. She now serves a committee member of several academic organizations.
