Research Interests
Dr. Qiu is a member of Cardiothoracic Surgery Group, Pediatric Surgery Branch, Chinese Medical Association, and has been engaged in the surgical treatment of complex and critical pediatric congenital heart diseases, such as complete transposition of great arteries, pulmonary atresia, total anomalous pulmonary venous connection, complete atrioventricular canal, interruption of aortic arch, for more than 30 years. He is interested in surgical treatment of complex and critical pediatric congenital heart disease. For his outstanding performance, he has received Song Qingling Pediatric Medicine Award, Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, and Science and Technology Progress Award of Education Ministry.
