Research Interests
Dr. Yu focuses on her research on nutrition, allergic diseases, and childhood neurobehavioral development. In regard to nutrition, she devotes herself to reveal the relationship between vitamin D and children neurodevelopment over years by prospective cohort study and animal experiment. She first proposed that both vitamin D deficiency and overdose would do harm to neurodevelopment. On the other hand, her research covered allergic diseases in children, promoting awareness of its impact on feeding, growth and development. Over the years, numerous scientific research achievements have been published and recognized by international experts.
