Research Interests
Dr. Wang wokes in Laboratory of Critical Care Translational Medicine and her research interests include Novel biomarkers for early diagnosis of sepsis in children and Novel immunometabolic regulators involved in sepsis-associated immune disorders.
Dr. Wang laboratory have focused on developing novel biomarkers for early diagnosis of sepsis in children by using both sepsis database and biobank based on multiple omics data analysis and machine learning and have made significant advances in biomarkers for sepsis, including FGF19, IL-22, etc. Besides, her laboratory has a long-standing interest in sepsis-associated immune disorders. We try to study the pathogenesis of sepsis-induced immunosuppression and identify novel immunometabolic regulators as potential intervention targets for immune regulation in sepsis in the future.
