Research Interests
Prof. Chen’s research focused on rotator cuff tears, shoulder stiffness, tendon-to-bone healing and skeletal muscle fibrosis. He has led and participated more than ten research projects, some of which were funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and Shanghai Municipal Government. Prof. Chen has published more than 80 peer-reviewed papers in top and first-class journals such as Am J Sports Med, Arthroscopy, Small, Biomater Res and Bioact Mater, and has 5 patents granted.
