Research Interests
Dr. Xiangui He has published more than 60 academic papers related to myopia as an advanced author. She has been the recipient of the 18th Silver Snake Award in 2021 - the highest honor for young medical talents in Shanghai. She undertook two National Natural Science Foundation of China projects (81800881, 82273648), one myopia subject of the National Key Research and Development Program (2021YFC2702104). She has implemented the large-scale (3 million) vision screening program for children in Shanghai (SCALE study), the outdoor intervention trial (STORM study) and the children high myopia management program (SCALE-HM study), and has developed an outdoor monitoring wristwatch. She also acted as the initiator of the popular science action - Go Sunning for Sight, and created Big Eye cartoon ambassador.
