Research Interests
Qi Li has been engaged in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, liver cancer, pancreatic cancer and other malignant tumors for nearly 30 years. He is good at immunotherapy, chemotherapy and molecular targeted therapy for digestive system neoplasms. He takes the lead in carrying out the clinical study on the evaluation of the efficacy of chemotherapy for advanced colon cancer and participates in a number of international multicenter clinical studies. In terms of basic research, his research focuses on the mechanism of digestive system tumorigenesis and tumor invasion and metastasis, and originally elucidated that KLF4 transcription factor is a liver cancer suppressor gene, and the loss of KLF4 expression plays an important role in promoting the process of liver cancer metastasis.
