Research Interests
Dr. Dianwen Song is a physician-scientist, involves in both the care of spinal tumor cases and biomedical research. Specifically, his laboratory focuses on conducting the original research in the field of bone-related tumor and deciphering the molecular basis of tumorigenesis and metastasis via mutiple experimental approaches. In addition, he is exceptionally interested in developing new biomaterials, such as 3D printing of the composite tissue materials, and exploring its application in the bone-related diseases. The long term goal of his work is to lay the foundation for development of novel therapeutic opportunity for bone malignancy.
