Xu Junming, MD, professor of surgery/chief physician, vice director of clinical center for general surgery, and director of department of hepatobiliary surgery and organ transplantation, Shanghai General Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. Dr Xu graduated from the Zhejiang University School of Medicine in 2001, where he obtained his doctor degree in Surgery. He was a general surgery fellow in UCLA Medical Center from 2007 to 2008. Dr Xu’s practice is focused on the hepatobiliary surgery and liver transplantation. He is widely recognized for his expertise by completing more than 400 cases of liver transplantation across the country. Being in charge of 2 projects of “National Natural Science Foundation of China” and several other items, he has published more than 30 papers in SCI journals, and was recognized as committee member in many national or provincial medical associations.
