Research Interests
Prof. Zhao is mainly engaged in research on the pathogenesis of prostate diseases and the mechanism of complications of minimally invasive treatment, microsurgical treatment of male infertility and the pathogenesis of erectile dysfunction.
Prof. Zhao’s specific research interests are the precise surgical treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia, the mechanism of androgen receptor (AR) and non-coding RNA in the development of prostate cancer and transformation of castration resistance in prostate cancer; basic and clinical research on the pathogenesis and treatment of male erectile dysfunction, especially lipus-activated endogenous stem cells for male erectile dysfunction.
