Research Interests
Dr. Chai majored in craniofacial surgery with more than 20 years of experience, especially in traumatic deformities, congenital syndromes, and digital cosmetic design. So far, he has presided over 9 projects above the municipal level (2 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China). His researches were extensively published in science journals, 3 monographs, and 3 patents of the invention with surgery robots, augmented reality surgical navigation systems, 3D bioprinting, and other digital-assisted technologies in craniomaxillofacial surgery. Additionally, he has won the second prize in the Chinese Medical Science and technology awards at all levels of 8 awards.
